Thank you Charlie!

Alan was pitting for KT at Longbeach and showed me what ended his racing days. He was running 150Mod and got rear ended in the #1-2 turn at Longbeach. It was pretty emotional for him. KT and I are very seriously thinking about stepping back from boat racing for a number of reasons, but the main one is she is getting into shifter carts and Indy cars. She is discouraged about the ever shrinking amount of boat racers, the senseless arguments that would turn things around that are not ever looked at because someones gran father did it that way, etc. The same people who claim to be making it better are in fact the ones driving it into the sand. It is very disheartening at the least, and criminal at the worst.
There is money involved in carting and in open wheel racing, none of which is in boating. I dont want her to do that, but this is her decision. Have not made it yet but this is the way she is looking.

Happy Birthday, Bill. I am a friend of Alan Ishii's and he has told me a lot about you. Hope you have a great birthday and maybe see you at a race in the near future. Trying to get Alan back behind the wheel of something that burns methanol. He was hard to beat back in the day, and will be hard to beat today. Just got to get him over this thing he has about flying.........in an airplane.
