You are very welcome. I didn't know Art, but I read about him. The Midwest Power Boat Association had some of the best drivers ever....and they had the officials and backup to make a good race. I had/have lots of friends from the Mid West Power Boat Association. I just wish the magazine was still around when I ran against the fierce one's I knew because it would be a hoot to look back upon it now.

Thanks so much for posting the pictures of the old MPBA magazine on the MN boat racers site. It was so neat to see my Dad Art Welsh in the pictures.

Well...it happens like that sometimes John. Hope you had a great time visiting while you waited on the wind. Let me know how it works out in a couple of weeks.

Ended up not being able to run, we had 2 days of being blown out ! I had to head north back to work, had a friend run the boat and finished in 5th ! I guess that is some good news ! Next race is in 2 weeks, hope to have better luck !

Jumped back in after 24 years ! Bought a C Mod Hydro (Laydown), running at Oroville (Nationals) this coming week ! First runs in the boat went really well, only took about 5-6 laps to get comfortable in the boat.YIKES ! Will post some pics later this month after we get back !
