Seems that my list of winners says no race in 1979...Hell, I know I didn't win, but I know there was a race...I ran a SIX CARB Mercury 2 liter...
Anyone know who won??
Who won in 1982 and 1983??

I know there was a winner in 1979....As Freddy Hauenstein and I won it in 1978...Freddy went to work for Mercury, and I ran a Mercury....in 1979...First place in 1978, first boat out in 1979....
I ran Mod VP in 1982 and 1983......
Seems lke It was a Seebold Mercury in 82....with like a New Yorker....Maybe, John Sherlock....
There definitely was a Parker enduro in 1979 because that's where my brother and his wife spent their honeymoon- they were married on March 3, 1979 - one day before the race.
I'm trying to remember who won it???? I certainly remember who won in 1978, because I captured that win on canvas.
Which year did Mitch Lembke and the Jaguar V-12 win Parker? Was it 1979?
mitch lembke and russ romer won the race in 1985 in speed & marine associates jaguar powered seebold
Todd:
You should be racing that Silverwing- it would have been great to see that monster run again!
Are you coming out to watch?

Hi Ron:
I'm still looking for 1979, but Jimbo and Ron Ackerman won in 1982; and Art
Kennedy and John Mesch won in 1983 with a 2-liter Mercury.
Fred
....it was Billy Seebold. From the December 1979 issue of POWERBOAT & WATERSKIING. (I didn't scan deep enough. Molinari had to change one too many gearcases and it allowed Billy and Earl Bentz to get in front for the win.)
Parker Winners-
1978-Ron Hill & Fred Hauenstein
1979-Bill Seebold & Earl Benz
1980-Bob Spalding & Kenny Stevenson
1981-Johnny Sanders & Don Johnson
1982-Jimbo McConnel & Ron Acerman
1983-John Mesch & John Sherlock-----------Art Kennedy, not John and John
