I am putting together a race in Georgia of a time sence long forgot .A race of men and boats from a time whn planked built boats were in.
Befor pywoo when kg7h were the engin of chose .I as not around in the early 40s when fred Jacoby was the racer to beat but as a kid in the mid 50s
he was my race hero of my day.Igrew up with a A class jacoby my dad had bought with a kgh motor and if there are any racers left from that day I want to put this race together for them and a dream of yesteryear. I my self weigh more than boat and motor then but every time i got the smell of the smoke of engin oil in my nose i was as if i to was racing in that boat.If there is any one that can offer ifo that can help with this race please feel free to e-mail me at
