Some time around late 60's or 1970. That is when I had hair.

We get to see some details that I have not seen before ... these show the breaks in the stripes across the top of the motor, not this clearly shown in anyone else's pictures that I know of. The stripes across the top of the motor were only used on the 1969 Merc Super BP racers, so 1969 is the earliest date for these pics
Please keep posting pictures for us, there are a few details from that era I am very interested in that have no photo documentation so far ... I keep hoping that someone like you will eventually find a key picture and post it :)
that's one of the sites I did rescue & recovery a few times back in the mid 70's :eek:
