If ever your having a party, Mike Smith's name should be 1st on the list...Whatever he does, you can be sure, everybody will be talking about it for years....
Remember this Ralph ??

Yes, Steve I remember! It was in Ternopol, and the Russians won the first three places. Alexi Ischutin in the middle, Andre Bernitsin on the left, Manfred Loth was 4th, his face is hidden, Lazslo Volente with the beard. I was on down the line some place along with Peer Krage and Andy Chesman.
First is Bobby Herring, Jerry Waldman and Carl Stippich...
The second one is at Essex, Maryland, 1967. Jerry Waldman raced A Stock Hydro for the Hedlunds....Charlie Strang was one of the inspectors, I think...It rained 12 inches one day...
The third picture is the 1965 Needles marathon...
Looks like Steve Wilde won AU...
Thanks for the pictures, Chris, send me more!!!
Close ups of Jerry and Charlie...Jerry was as close to Charlie's son as anyone could have been....Chrlie's mother always considered Bobby Herring and Jerry Wldman, "HER" boys....
Found this while I was looking through some contact sheets. It was taken at Kaukauna, Wisconsin in 1976. I figure I should know who this is, but I can't come up with a name. I think some of you out there would know.
Is it Dick Iglebrentson (sp)

Here's a clue. That's Bob Hering's tunnel. And a Merc dangling off the transom.
