It looks just like it should for a hatchet....in fact, you do much better work than some of the other stuff I have seen. There are some guys out there running mod Yamato foots that look like something a drunk guy did!Quote:

Jippe, what you can do (regarding the downward slope of the upper side toward the nose) is build it up with aluminox putty on each side. You can shape by eyeballing it until it has a even looking contour from the sides to the front. You can then fair it by sanding and finish with body-filler. Then you can give it a few passes of aluminum metallic engine enamel. It may reduce a potential water loading or pressure area that you don't want, plus it will look more uniform. It will hold up very well also. I wouldn't remove anything though.
