Aussie Boats.
:):):)Hi Chris.Great shots from past.I myself as a youngster was at quite a few of these meets and remember the boats and drivers well. This is my 1st post reply on this great site and it has taken a fellow aussie to get me motivated.I have owned 2 and currently own 1 of the boats pictured.I have many photos of outboard racing aussie style from the sixties to now.I also still have a nice complete KR15m strangler on a trask tunnel specifically built for the motor.I have 3 14:23 clubfoots and 3 1:1 gearboxes and 15 props to suit both. Most of this equip was obtained by my father from Bert Hines in the late 1970's.A few of the props are Ron Hill engraved.I will post some pics soon.We raced together in f3 1250cc in the early nineties.Regards Peter Phillips Grafton NSW Australia.

hey Peter,
How have you been? Wow, would like to see a few photos one day, do you run them? Still would love to hear a Strangler running again.
Put the photos over at the voc.com.au have a look in the forums, post a few of your own if you get a chance
cheers

Hi peter,
saw your post, not sure if we have spoken before , but really keen to have a chat and also see pics of your boat or even better get it on the water, we will be running in the VOC some classic boat events as well as our normal scratch and handicap racing !! you are most welcome to run with us if you ever wish to come down this way! I also have some old race motors and love the Strangler engine.
All the best
