Quincy Z Engine
Just picked up a Quincy Z RB Engine yesterday. Can't wait to get into this one, but I gotta finish up a couple other projects first. I basically had ro hide it from myself...Attachment 61220Attachment 61221Attachment 61222Attachment 61222Attachment 61223Attachment 61224

Did Quincy make anything bigger like a 700cc? Or did they not get into D&F Alky once the loopers were done.

The biggest Z motor was a C, it was a Three cylinder. Steve

You told me they were modular in an email. Each cylinder was it's own. Was it possible to build a 3 cylinder 60ci? based on 3 20ci? Or am I not understanding right? Could the 3 cylinder 30ci crank work?

Crankshaft are the heart of any engine and also most expensive part. The strokes were the same on all, just a bore change. Three B jugs make a 521 cc motor and a legal D but small. The C I think had 62 mm bores and was really a 489 cc's. The crank was the modular part and cylinders were independent.
