could be a new truck engine for a road train?
but more like a cruise ship or container ship. Back in the day I developed some torque wrench packages to tighten head, rod and main bearing bolts on engines like this. Some take as much as 8000+ ft. lbs to stretch them properly.
Do you have to lift it to crank it?

I am sure that anyone that knows you would have you at the top of the list for pit help if lifting were required to start it. Possibly Baldy on the rope! Man, that would hurt if that thing kicked back and pulled the handle thru your fingers!
