This Was High Summer Water Levels In 1971, Way Worse This Time!

With out a doubt 2005 is going down in history as the highest summer levels in history with water going towards the Hudsons Bay through the various watersheads that feed fresh water in that direction. I looked up an old 1971 picture because waters were at that record high in 1971. The river in this picture is at summer flood stage too but this time around in 2005, all that green grass is gone and those big trees are in the water too now! Its been one amazing summer so far. I am going to post some followups too as this is going to look similar way into August and some crazy boaters have already died toying with these fast and high waters.
