and did not make it.

As I told Lars in an Email, I knew Erik was dead, but had not known it for a fact until today, May 6, 2008. It had been too long since Erik had called me. He bought lots of props off me over the years. He once worked the LA Boat Show with me, a ten day show, had had a "MOBILE PHONE" the size and weight of a car battery, but it was cool...
When he started flying helicopters......I worried as he was a little "CRAZY" at the wheel of a boat. He was flying to oil rigs the last I heard from him...Erik was not a very famous boat racer, but always an "UPPER" to be around...Always going, going, going....Now Lars tells me he's gone...Maybe Lars will post some pictures of Erick and himself....
