I don't think it would hold up to the abuse I put it through. It's on an 18x42 aluminum boat that gets ran in shallow water.

I need the torque specs for a 2002 Yamaha 90 2-stroke. And are the rod bolts torque to yield bolts? Can they be reused or need to be changed? I did a complete rebuild and need all the power head...
Try the klotz outboard techniplate instead of the r50. The r50 is for high rpm motors. The r50 has better corosion inhibitors for storing your motor though. At least that's what I've gathered from...
I'm running .070 in mine. It's a little fat but it won't burn up that way
The nos doesn't add much to my top end it just helps it get there faster. I can run 70 without nos with my merc
I agree with popa sam motor needs to go up at least 3 inches. I've never had a problem with water coming over the transom from being to high
I tried to send you some pics to the # you sent but that # won't work
I can email you some or text them to you. I also have a 12x23 merc cleaver for $500
I have a 12 1/2 x23 over the hub ron hill prop I'll sell you for $300
The motor was a 59ci block but was detuned to a 40. It was on a 15x48 aluminum semi vee boat but did have a 5" jack plate. I'd love to race you now. It has a little modification done and will break...
I had a bone stock merc 59ci motor on a 15X48 weldbilt that would run 53mph all day long with a 20 pitch merc chopper. I'm not trying to start a pissing match but the speeds you stated that e tech is...
I'm confused at what you're trying to say here. Are you saying that a stock 3 cylinder won't run over 50 mph?
I've heard of people either twisting the skeg a little or you could put a little bondo wedge on the skeg
I would go with a 15x48 semi vee weldbilt but a 15x52 will work too or if you want a custom boat I'd go with borel boat works out of orange,tx
I've heard of people putting a strut from the boat to the motor or u could just use bungie cords
Send me an uncut one and u can have mine that's cut
If anybody else has a prop they don't need I need one. I would like about an 11 3/4 x 23. Thanks David
Where? I have a 90 yamaha I need cut down.
I have an 02 yammi 90. Will a 40 tiller fit or be modified to fit? If not where can I find one that will fit?
I tried to get in touch with you several times but you never called. As far as enemys I wouldn't say that. I've only met you once I didn't have a problem with you.Hell I'm just waiting for an invite...
I have a 90 yamaha that I want to get cut down to a 15". Anybody know who does this and how much?
I was told the prop shaft needed to be one inch above center sponson
Thanks for all the help. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow if I can figure out how. I'm cutting the transom down 4 inches right now because it was built for a 20 inch motor
Should prop shaft be one inch above bottom of tunnel or above center pod?
It's just an old marsh motor I took off of an 1842 tunnel
Boat is a lee tunnel with center pod I know absolutly nothing about it as far as rigging I just wanna go fast
Can someone tell me the approximate prop shaft height to start
trying for an sst 60 for a river toy. I don't intend on racing except for fun
