I run two jets as on the return side i have the choke line going off it.
A 52 jet after the carbs.. 60 at the T where the choke comes off to get flow to the choke.

hey there fred, i know its not a straight in but the FT over here 8port front well the ones i have seen are all cast in blister port blocks. not like our pressed in sleeve mod 50's.. i believe even...

single throat carbies on a 49er, race motor. "standard" inside.. changing to the later primer type choke carbs.. what would be a good jet size, the carbies i have are off a 60hp and had 54d's in it.....

Im using a holley style reg.

My returns 8mm same as the in. On the return i have a T fitting 8mm in then 4mm for choke the 8mm return to tank with orifcaces as required.:cool::eek:

so to make this work with the mod50 pistons what clearances will i need etc? as you mentioned the 25hr life span will...

so fred i have seen these cast in liners you have spoken about, both my 814cc blocks have them,... so what 49 cuber can i get to run those mcdaniels pistons in?? :eek::cool:
