Short v4-Is that "Beaver" Tyler's old motor creation?
Thanks LittleCharger and Howie. I know they don't fit my Stinger.
The SST45 and SST60 powerhead studs look more evenly spaced, not like these bars.
SST45...
I have these wingplates that I thought were for a 49ci OMC, but they are not. Could they be for a 45SS, SST60 or Mod50?
Thanks!
I'm still looking for a vintage Nydahl or Merc foot throttle and...
I would also like details on this as well. Good photo Argo
Sorry, I thought we were talking about 3cyl. But the info works for them also.
correct, thanks bill...i don't think I have any apart or I would post pics. To me its easier to do that than find or pay what people want for a short Stinger mid.
I can't see your attachments...I remember thinking it would not be hard to add the hole. much easier than finding a short mid.
I'm 98% sure you can make that short mid work with a shifting lower unit. I have both, but have not converted one, but I plan to one day if needed.
Kinda hard to jump out of the gate modifing the...
i say go for it. that's a great boat and even greater with a pad. I always wanted to put a pad on one someday. There maybe a thread on SnF where someone put a pad on one, been a while since I was...
This is what I started last year when we were talking about the 25/30/35 carb differences. This is nothing more than me writing down the numbers on 3 of the 31.8 motors I have. I do plan to add...
...and don't wire the 3 buttons on the wheel in series or non of them will operate unless you push all 3 at the same time. wire them in parallel.

I have a 82 25hp, which I am pretty sure is 31.8. I wonder if it has the 360Deg head on it. I should go out and check the PN on it. It had the pin drive lower.
There was one for sale last year on craigslist of all places, it was in phoenix or out in the southwest somewhere. The guy wanted $600 for it, I could not justify it. But that is the only one I...
Does anyone have any pics of a 25/35 with a Second Effort case installed?
52161
Heads...Joe says 1982 is the good one. Is it all 31.8 1982 heads or just 35hp? Why just 1982-What happened in 1983?
Joe/mike/anyone? have you made a chart with the part numbers and differences...
I don't think a few inches in altitude would matter as long as it got primed. I'm not interested in electric water feeding this right now. I guess I could weld some length on the shaft if I had to,...
Very cool. I thought that looked like a yamaha prop. I'm guessing that there is still some speed potential left in that rig.
Good luck, be safe!
Nice looking ride! Can you post a pic from the back? Do you run that prop that is sitting on top of the cowling in the 1st picture? What speeds?
Thanks Mike for the info on the waterpump, I wasn't thinking about chopping an omc case off for the waterpump. Although the Konig case has a cav plate and what appears to be an exhaust outlet above...
emust...I still go back to the rigging set up and prop work, then carbs, compression, exhaust- squeezing every last mph out of the setup before i go grinding on the ports. Probably because I...
Very nice work, I admire your initiative. love the pics and video...did he say 65mph? That's awesome.
I don't wanna derail EMustards thread, but what waterpump did you use with the yamato case? I...
Lots of good suggestion here on this thread. Pics would help us see what you are working with also.
That's cool, post pics if you can.
Look up JohnsonM50 and SmokinJoe on here, they've been modding up the 32ci OMCs a bunch.
I have an old 14ft alum runabout (250#rigged) with a stock '57 18hp...
Good luck finding one. they do exist, but i've only seen one online in the last many years I think.
What does your rig weigh and what speeds? What prop? Do you have porting specs?
Emustard...what boat are you running? Got any pics of your mods? What about raising the compression?
sweet...you got PM
Does anyone have these 2 brackets for mounting the cylinder? Part#s are:
#5...321440 motor bracket
#32...561392 boat bracket
I need them!
Thanks
Look up Parker Rabe on screamandfly or here,,,I think he talked about having these decals reproduced a few years back. I scanned some of his dads old pics and there were a few of these motors at his...
What about a 1980 25hp OMC? it is the old split case - it has a 13spline shaft and smaller diam then the 1980 75hp OMC. Sorry, no dimensions here.
But I wondered if you made a chopper style for...
I didn't read all the posts here...but I agree with Fyremanbill....That looks to be a 1978 Offshore motor from Hi-Perf. Not very many originals around. There is one local to me and I think I have...
scott..looks like a Critchfield, which is what I think Baker Marine Support built/sold a few years back.
Gene, Sorry for your loss. Yes, as far as I know they are on schedule for their september show. I am not sure of the exact dates, but I will try to find out. It is a great show and swap.
Oh Gene, did you happen to be at Todd and Rob's event this weekend? I was over there on Saturday and had a great time. I am jealous of Quincy and their appreciation for boating lifestyles and their...
Thats awesome! Flivers are a whoot for sure. It would be a great entry level rebirth event and great race for spectators to watch, just a little out of the norm or conventionalism.
There is a...
its strange that I have never heard about this class running, other than peters book and no pics have surfaced.
oh well, I will have fun making mine fly anyways!
Does anyone have any information on Flying Fliver Boats? They were and 8ft long 4ft wide unsinkable boat built originally in MN, then copied/modied and build in FL.
www.creekrat.com/fliverboat.htm...
anyone selling these for 1bbl?
