I think that georgiaf1racer has maybe misunderstood #28 wich is floatvalve. I havent seen that small orifice in any carbs wich ive disassembled.
EDIT. Take my word back! There is partpic 1975 ...
Picture would be helpfull for all of us.
Jep!
Im running my 56er ~21*ign and big carbs with 1.8mm mains. Ex ports are chamfered and comp is 160psi.
I can run up to 8000rpm allday long with this combination.
We have also 49er 75hp,...
Those on the upper post are the best so far ive driven on my motor! I had 2cyl 1.5in before those and throttle response is like night&day with current ones! Also 1.37in w/o idlejet is good for...
To me it seems that throttle response is better everywhere. These should be little shorter to gain more up top. But, we have had very hot here for a long time and it still goes like before on cooler...
Hi!
Off the shelf, made for dellorto 40mm.
Ready for swap😀!
Edit: On their place
These are 1.5in
Little tinkerin today!
Enlarged carbs to 40mm and grinded those grooves for mounting screws.
Machined
Aargh, my bad! Didnt measure opening so have to estimate: About 5.5cm x 6.5cm on open end. Length is accurate, 20.5cm from powerhead gasket. Those holes on sides of tuner are 12mm each. Excan is full...
Next on todo list. These are 40mm diam so i must open carbs front a little.
Here new one welded.
Hi all!
Now i have been able ro try that new tuner. Everything else stayed same except that little amount of water wich have been flowing through the can is gone, so its dry!
Top speed before with...
True! But so it happens, we have 1997 70hp with Vro in our summercabin and works flawless!
In my Argo ive deleted it in a favor of electric pump and 24:1 premix.
Thanks for saying that!
I have another under construction, straight but widened on every direction. Have to make sure it stays in line on rough conditions! Pics are on the way.

Find 70hp carbs and put those on. If VRO works its good for regular boating.
Okay, modified water intake. Waiting for paint.
Tried to make it 1cm lower, see how it works!
-J-
Edit: painted
Well actually it was, didnt mean to drive this high. 8mm lower it works perfectly!

Jep, back in business! Skeg is now grinded allmost symmetrical for both sides. Seems that i dont need that wing effect at all!! New little larger but symmetric is on the way from welder, will get...
Here too, driven with new nosecone. This is too high to keep motor temp in control, have to make little modification on the water intake.
Sorry for the bad picture😀!
-J-
Sorry it took this long, but have been driving last setup this far! Now its time to change that new tuner in place. Will get back here with results.

Well, 1st testdrive behind. That bend trailingedge is too much so i grinded it off. Right side is now straight but still that wing profile is left.
It was so much that had to turn steeringwheel...
And finished!😬
Well, last finishing touch and painting. Finally ready!
Done little tinkering with exhaust for next season!
Hello!
Latest version of the nosecone.
Its really hard to catch that shape to the screen!
Under construction is deeper and longer skeg with torquetamer feature.
Welding done with mig.
Finally some videos for nosecone!

What a day it was for boating!😎
Sunshine , little wind and 4*c temp. Todays result was what you see in the picture, have to find more pitch!
-J-
Correct, its coming from old telltale fitting wich was largened and goes all the way through lower cowling. Ive made waterdump because that LWP on the nose is feeding so much water that wasnt able to...
Hi again!
Now i have carbs that works properly. They changed hole thing, throtle response is better than ever before and motor runs real nice. Under is picture of those carbs with low end airjet...
Ditched that highport block off the use. Its too lazy for takeoff and dont give anything spectacular in upper range besides huge fuelconsumption.
Following clip is for my spare ph with 0.463 head...
It defenetly slips more and more when you go up. Idea go higher is to get gearcase drag lower,
but that you know, by using more pitch on prop to take care of that higher slip and gain speed.
If...
Hello, its been awhile!
Managed to put that original block back together and have been on water few times with it.
Its got more degrees on every port than other blocks so its little lazy under...
Thats not illusion, i run this high to make it spin freely because of 26in pitch. It also works much lower but speed i get is also lower.
Two blade props were speedprops back then, when motors...
This is what mine looks in the same direction. Its more like C.
Yep, it is!
But in the end damn rat came to town and was so hungry that ate 1 piston halfway:rolleyes:
That head dont do good with these rpms, too much heat!! Have to put it side and wait untill...
With this
Today
Hi there,
Been long time but have solved fuel problems.
With Facet redtop and some regulator i now have solid 5.5psi fuel pressure. Have to use 3mm drillbit to open that plastic fuelblock and 1...
With 2 person load!
That 58.7kn was with 1 person load and twoblade.
It would be interesting to see front/rear balance with 1 and 2 person load. My guess is that
co-driver in place moves...
Speed update:
Two person load 57kn. Slight backwind.
Did little mod for propeller tip.
Hello,
Does anyone have picture of emulsiontube on sst60 carb?
I cant either with computer.
This is why i do all forumwork with my Honor7, everything goes like snap of a finger😂😂!
45* chamfer on sleeve area, upper edge 1.382 from deck. Port roof untouched.
Its bridgeport. I only have chamfer on sleeve area, havent raise the roof. Yes im aware of ECR, might go up a little in that. I have to find prop to take rpms down to ~7500 in wot.
1.382 from deck.
