my 2 hole looper did that 'til I pulled out all 6 welsh plugs in the 2 carbs and used an ultrasonic cleaner to get way down deep into the carb to clean it!

I believe the stock one is the reason why I have limited higher rpms, and the plastic hose barb and that o-ring I feel could have been better engineered,
I like simple so maybe i'll just get a new...

Any feeling for or against an electric fuel pump on a little '72 two hole looper 50 HP electric start?
The stock fuel pump is a 3 hose barb vacuum style.
I think the stock pump puts out 5-7...
So can I run bigger than #58 jets and advance it a couple degrees if I run e10 fuel but 92 octane?

An outboard service yard told me on my 1972 50 hp Johna/Rude fishin' mota, that runs on E10 (all we can get in Massachusetts) that I should not run at the stock...
Mine is an old OMC so I am able to hold it from turning it with a simple 6 in 'c ' clamp onto the flywheel lodging it against the block, works great!

other than the forced water pump wouild a streamlined gearcase only be of the non-shiftable type?
I've been thinking of a smaller gearcase/shiftable 15 inch unit for my '77 JonaRude 50hp...
