UU-170 looks to be a Dutchman. The other one maybe Hustler?
.030 is as big as I have ever went on an inline. I went .044 on a v6
what or who's boat did you buy?
I doubt anyone makes them now for the old inlines. I ran them on the inline sixes years ago which would be the same bars. Just maybe get with some of the old vintage guys and see if some are still...
I would guess it could be an old Mod VP hull.
These pictures are great!!
Jim was a very good friend of mine and I have seen this stuff for years. Some of it is beyond words. He was one hell of a man and he will be missed!
The east bank park still looks the same. The big Davit is still there as well.
254 Tom Stickle, 251 Mike Downard ? 119 might have been Kenny Kitson
I see two different Dutchmans in the pics
I see your handle is Auglaize 99. I assume you are from this area? I live on the lake and have for a number of years.
My Dutchman I purchased later on is in the January classified, Also a Kitson Tunnel a buddy of mine and I bought. Cool
They are still running Super Sport back in this part of the country. My Buddy races a Vision Craft. There are probably only about 8-10 Super Sport boats running but I know Chip has bought a few...
I just love looking thru the classifieds. Wonder where all this stuff is now. I have bought and sold stuff thru propeller so I should get to see some adds soon. Also ads for Volvo. You never see...
I cut off some of the bottom of the page but it does say Wisecos as the piston to be based on.
Chip Wavro #33 races a Blackbird in Super Sport OPC. I can't seem to find any pictures of the boat but I know there are some on here somewhere. The boat runs very well for a green 150
Here you go. Right from APBA rules FORMULA 1 SPORT TECHNICAL STANDARDS
Engine block is a 5-petal front half 2.5 200HP non o-ring head produced from 1992 to 1999. The intent is to treat this...
It sure looks like a Broughton. Here was mine with a T2.
I have a steel one for a 120/F1 tunnel boat but I am in Ohio. I would let it go cheap.
Yes, they made more power than without them. A 125 Super BP was around 140 HP and with stacks they are supposed to be around 155.
Really neat but she doesn't look very happy.
I tried but your inbox is full
Lee I sent you a PM
thanks. Any use to anyone for very little $. If not im going to scrap them. They have been in my shop for way too many years.
Can anyone tell me what these are off of? I am sure they are Johnson or Evinrude. I got them with some old alky motors I had.
When I was a kid growing up not far from Dayton, My dad would take me over to Culvers. He and Merlyn were friends. I always loved seeing all the cool stuff they had there.
"free" is good
I still have one of the Canadian Merc Jackets
I know this is an old thread but would anyone know the specs and value of the Yamarude? Was it successful
Lots of 120's here. Haven't seen a 100 in years.
Change flywheel and starter to right hand rotation parts. Hit the starter button and it will run perfect right hand.
Wow a personal ad and you get "APPY ARRY"
that is all I have
The pic here with the v-6 is a Barracuda. While looking around on the internet a little I found a couple pictures of a Myer Tunnel. It sure looks like your boat. I never heard of a Myer until today.
I'm still pretty sure you have a Barracuda. I could be wrong. Having owned Duo's and still owning a Dutchman Stacker I can say it is not one of these. there are quite a few people running them with...
I think it is a Barracuda. It is not a Dutchman and it is not a Duo Mystery or a Magnum. It is a really neat boat and should be a lot of fun. What motor you going to put on it.
I dont think its a Dutchman.
Those engines are Twister 1's. They came that way from the factory. That was the engine that came after the 125 Super BP Stacker. It dumped the exhaust down the side into the mid and was a lot...
I used to have a early 60's Rayson with wood deck. It was a SS boat. SS-67 "Flatbottom Fever". It had a 69 427 L-88 alum head open chamber motor in it. Fun boat!
I agree a super speedmaster or a Chrysler speedie but if you have to have a 1.87 - 2.0 gear ratio, that would rule these out.
Looks like a Mirage "Bobcat". Should be about 10'.
There is a man on this site that goes by Shadowcat that owns the 20' "Canadian Wing" and lives in Newmarket, Ontario. That is the only known wing in Canada.
Here is a picture of a wooden Wing. Sam has posted some great sites to go to and check out some info. You might also go on Facebook and go to Switzer Wing and you will find a bunch of pictures that...
Congratulations on your win!
I have the VI on pdf file. Too big to send on here. I would need your email.
I would love to Dave but my boat is still upside down.(this time on purpose). Been way too cold to work in the shop this winter. Yesterday was the first day I got to work on it.
That 244 boat looks a lot like my old Broughton.
It's not about holding back and not allowing technology to advance the sport. It is about outboard vs inboard. This boat is not an outboard, This is an outboard class.
If four strokes become consistantly faster than 2 strokes then I could see the end of 2 strokes. This is racing, why do we need "green" motors. Don't see too many "Green" top fuel motors. Might as...
