I sent you $24.00 Ron. Thanks for all you do!
In Canada they run a bunch of the small Deltas, Critchfields in the 750 and 850 class
I don't know who drove that one but I have a few pictures of Checkmate Tunnels.
The white boat with the X115's is a Vampire. Pretty sure
UU-170 looks to be a Dutchman. The other one maybe Hustler?
I doubt anyone makes them now for the old inlines. I ran them on the inline sixes years ago which would be the same bars. Just maybe get with some of the old vintage guys and see if some are still...
These pictures are great!!
Jim was a very good friend of mine and I have seen this stuff for years. Some of it is beyond words. He was one hell of a man and he will be missed!
The east bank park still looks the same. The big Davit is still there as well.
254 Tom Stickle, 251 Mike Downard ? 119 might have been Kenny Kitson
I see two different Dutchmans in the pics
I see your handle is Auglaize 99. I assume you are from this area? I live on the lake and have for a number of years.
My Dutchman I purchased later on is in the January classified, Also a Kitson Tunnel a buddy of mine and I bought. Cool
They are still running Super Sport back in this part of the country. My Buddy races a Vision Craft. There are probably only about 8-10 Super Sport boats running but I know Chip has bought a few...
I just love looking thru the classifieds. Wonder where all this stuff is now. I have bought and sold stuff thru propeller so I should get to see some adds soon. Also ads for Volvo. You never see...
Chip Wavro #33 races a Blackbird in Super Sport OPC. I can't seem to find any pictures of the boat but I know there are some on here somewhere. The boat runs very well for a green 150
It sure looks like a Broughton. Here was mine with a T2.
Yes, they made more power than without them. A 125 Super BP was around 140 HP and with stacks they are supposed to be around 155.
"free" is good
I still have one of the Canadian Merc Jackets
I know this is an old thread but would anyone know the specs and value of the Yamarude? Was it successful
Lots of 120's here. Haven't seen a 100 in years.
Change flywheel and starter to right hand rotation parts. Hit the starter button and it will run perfect right hand.
Wow a personal ad and you get "APPY ARRY"
Those engines are Twister 1's. They came that way from the factory. That was the engine that came after the 125 Super BP Stacker. It dumped the exhaust down the side into the mid and was a lot...
I agree a super speedmaster or a Chrysler speedie but if you have to have a 1.87 - 2.0 gear ratio, that would rule these out.
I have the VI on pdf file. Too big to send on here. I would need your email.
That 244 boat looks a lot like my old Broughton.
I still use those pulleys on my 120 boat! They were well made. Hey Pete.
Here are some. i hope this helps.
Sorry, I fixed the link. Good thing I wasn't looking at something I shouldn't have been!:D
Toby, Mark Jacobs posted this a while back. It is a link to those rocker switches. http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Honeywell/1TP12-7/?qs=10P5Hhl%252bD7%2fH4x6upy4oQA%3d%3d
How about an SST60 motor.:D
All true 150Xs's had red stripes and louvered cowlings. There are 74 and 75 150's that had "J" blocks that were the same as the 150XS(same porting) but they did not have the low water pick up...
Looks like he has a 150XS on it.
You better watch saying Hookers and Blind Holes in the paragraph.:D
The "Comet" was Century's sailboat. It's not a Whirlwind either. Here is a picture of one but it sure is a neat boat that you have!
My first thought was a Century but I couldn't remember the model name. I knew it wasn't a Cyclone or a Kid.
I have seen a boat somewhere in one of my books like this. I will look this weekend. Looks kinda like a Grevette although I do not think they made anything that small.
The brown wire would be a coil wire. The coil on the T2's were mounted on an aluminum plate along with a primer and switch boxes. There really are not any performance parts for an older inline...
Maybe an 80 Merc 4 cylinder with cut down T2 exhaust and intake?? That's my guess anyway.
I would tend to agree with you. maybe that mid Norris bought came from Miller also?
I have no clue!. Don't know if they were factory or not. I do remember a N.O.S. T2 mid several years ago on E-Bay that was the same ivory color. I think "Raceman"(Norris) on S & F bought it and swore...
Like this one??:D
You're An Evil Man!
Jim Russell would be a good source of info also. Damn Mark, that thing sure ought to hook!!
I know if you hit a "Hole" in the corner when entering at full speed(like I did last weekend), you're boat takes the turn like this!! Enough force to put a hole in my sponson!
Do you think there is more or less 18's.
I might have a set of chrome reverse wheels to trade for those 3 boats!!:D
