Parker 1970, end of the first lap...Me in the Hallett and Johnny Sanders in the Molinari that Scotti had won Havasu with in 1969...It was a cold morning and my goggles had frosted...I had to pull them down to see.....after I'd hit a bouy up river...
I finished 2ns buy one foot...I drove 7 hours and 20 minutes that day...
D. Berghauer on the side...we didn't know which Berghauer would have a slot open, so, just put D...for Dewey or Denny!!!!
