Question Any new GT30 Hulls appear in 2017?

Povvat Race Boats purchased the Winrace MK 9 molds a few years ago. I noticed those hulls finished first and second in the European Championship in 2017. In some pictures the hull looks wider compared the the original MK 9. Is it a different boat? What happened to the MK8 molds? What other hulls are new to the class? Are any of these new hulls 13 feet in length?

That's a different boat. The mk9 molds where sold to Poland (win gt?)
The MK8 moulds are still at Winrace. There will be a MK X(10) but will not be for sale due to the numerous times the Winrace boats has been illegally copied during the years. The MK X will be the very last Monohull we make. Tunnelhulls comming up

The hulls from Winrace is about 13 feet, suited for 15 to 30hp 4 stroke for the UIM Gt30
    And GT15 classes!

Any Updates on GT15/GT30 boats as trying to introduce these classes into Australia to replace our Formula Future 15 & 25 hp 2 stoke classes?

I am curious about the phrase...’the numerous times the Winrace boats being illegally copied during the years.’ Are the Winraced designs and boats “Patented”. On what basis have copying them been illegal?

Race boats have been copied for years.. probably because they are not “Patented”. To patent something costs lots of money.

Just curious. Thank you...... They are cool looking race boats... How fast do they go?
