If ya'll can't come to grips on the rules, throw a block in the intake, beef up the transom, hang an outboard on the back and come COR racing. We welcome all racers whether they run 50 or 80! and Moneypit can verify, WE HAVE FUN! RD

I'm no fan of filler boats being in any class. If it's a racing class, then it should be a competitve race boat. If the guys with river toys want to race, then they can step right into the Nostalgia classes with little to no modifications needed.

Please keep in mind, for all Nostalgia classes, what APBA requires is what Nostalgia requires. So if full stringers and no floor mounted seats are required for Comp Jet, then they are required for Nostalgia Jet also. Just because the Nostalgia Class is limited to 80mph that doesn't mean we don't have the same saftey rules. A Nostalgia Flat has to be as safe as a Pro-Stock, Super Stock, or Cracker Box, Nostalgia Endurance has to be as safe as a GN. The only rule we don't abide by is in regards to the motor, 80mph is your limiting factor in regards to the motor. All Nostalgia Boats must pass the same inspection standards as required by it's APBA equivilant class.
Waters for racing, Asphalt & Dirt are for put'n it in!

It seems that the class was very strong in Burley, I hope that it continues. From what I heard Comp Jet was the strongest class at the event. I know a few more boats from region 12 will be coming out very soon.

Default CJ 187 - Engine going in....long time coming!

Well, its been a long haul but the engine is finally going in. I won't be at Long Beach but hope we have enough boats for Ming. That is where I might break her in.

That sure looks nice Gary, I am very happy for you. As you can see from the pic below I am getting closer. Here is a thread on PBs on the build.
