Evinrude E-Tec 225 HO and Mercury Optimax 225 Sport XR

Hello,
somebody out there who can tell me if it is possible to uninstall the rpm limiter on a Evinrude 225 HO and / or a Mercury Optimax 225 XR Sport?
And is there an "legal" tuning possible at these engines?

Only by reprogramming the ecu, Simon Motorsports or Turmax will do the Merc, The only person I know to have reprogrammed an E-Tec Rev limit was a dealer and he had to send it back to BRP.
