Boy, was I confused. I have been hammered with the propaganda that it is the Iraq war and the war on terror that is bankrupting us.
I now find that to be RIDICULOUS.
I hope the following 14 reasons are forwarded over and over again until they are read so many times that the reader gets sick of reading them. I also have included the URL's for verification of all the following facts...


1. $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year by state governments.

Recently the congressman from my district (Illinois 17th) Phil Hare was questioned at a town hall meeting about the constitutionality of some of the liberal policies he supports.

He replied, "I don't care about the Constitution, I care about the people".

When asked about the oath he took to "Support and defend the Constitution"; he stormed out of the meeting, jumped into his car and left.

I've got news for you Phil, WE ARE THE PEOPLE!

Constitutional amendment# 28 Gotta love it, short to the point, plain English:

Amendment 28

"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United
States that does not apply equally to the Senators or Representatives,

Add term limits & stress the importance of voting to those who may be fence sitters, apathetic or why-ever they might not. As Sam wrote, voting the primaries might be the most important vote. Its easy to voice opinion where many are of similar mindset, I remember the frustration of talking to people at work etc, that were star spangled O-boy voters many of whom are quiet now. Once the deceived believe, they go deaf.

Pop...gas prices are not inflated. If you knew all the government regulations it took to make a gallon, you would wonder how they could do it at that. The dozens of different formulations according to the part of the country you are in and the time of year it is adds even more to the cost. NOT TO MENTION STATE AND FEDERAL TAXES. The states and feds invest not a time, but have the single biggest take in the whole pipeline from getting it out of the ground to the pump handle.

Last week two Mexicans escaped from prison in Frio County northwest of here and are yet to be apprehended. They are heading back to Mexico. The Mexican Mafia was always the biggest gang in our prisons down here, but I have heard of another one that is even more violent and is more about illegals imprisoned than the U.S hispanic citizens that call themselves the Mexican Mafia. I can't remember the name of the group, but it is the fastest growing of the seven hispanic gangs down here. That's one of the reasons for all the drugs wars currently going on. The gangs are fighting one another for control. A couple of weeks ago a number of rounds fell on the Southmost College campus at Brownsville from a battle going on across the river.

When Carter declared amnesty for illegal aliens, that was supposed to stop the flow. It didn't. It just got worse. That just set the stage for all the b.s. going on now and encouraged more of it. It will never stop until corruption in Mexico ends, and their people are allowed to get an education to pull themselves up out of poverty. But, in the meantime, we need to do all we can to slow the flow and NEVER, NEVER AGAIN have an amnesty program. We will have a big fight this summer and fall over amnesty because Obama wants a wedge issue to drive hispanics away from conservatives. But, I know a lot of hispanics that are just as concerened about the problem. They know their future will not be helped by all the spending, violence, drugs, and fraud.

Did you k now...that the same administration which chooses to block any drilling operations oiff shore and makes it near impossible to drill anywhere, just gave a Venezualan company a 21 bilion dollar loan for offshore exploritory drilling? Oh, by the way, George Soros, thats right the same George Soros who cheated all the OMC employees out of their jobs and donates millions to democratic candidates all over the country, the same George Soros who helped elect O'back Arama the new king of the US, that same George Soros owns a 53% share in that off shore company....Lets see here, we cave to the enviro whacks for now drilling, and we give Boy George billions...But, would he not be one of those evil rich people already? Would he not be someone accepting corporate welfare?

Funny how when the shoe is on the other foot how its ok to drill, and ok to spend our money on oil research.....
