This is the most revealing comment Obama has made publicly in a long while. It shows his self-absorption and utter lack of a sense of history.
Sure, FDR had a tough ‘30s with the economy and all, but by the time the ‘40s hit, it was smooth sailing.
(What’s worse: the Nazis and the threat of world-dominating totalitarianism or the obstructionist Republicans?)
And President Harry Truman really had an easy time ending World War II, and having to nuke the Japanese.
President Dwight Eisenhower only had the Korean War to worry about – and who remembers that, anyway? JFK and LBJ had Vietnam
– not to mention the worry that the Russians might nuke America from Cuba, or any other place in the world, etc., etc., etc.
Obama’s whining is puerile. One does hope it’s been the toughest year and a half he’s ever had.
He is the president, and it’s a job that requires a bit of work. But to treat the previous presidents with so little respect is unbecoming.
Sure, he has two wars to fight – just as his predecessor did – and a global struggle against radical Islam.
But he isn’t even focusing (with a few exceptions) on these events.
What seems to have him down is that he has a political opposition resisting his agenda.
The presidency is a job that you really have to want in order to get.
The last thing people want to hear from a president is even an iota of self-pity.

The great one also likes to fly around in Airforce One. Notice all the trips that he makes. Why? Seems to me he should be doing his job in the White House. Not flying around in Airforce One. Oh but he really enjoys the roy'laty. When Reagen was Pres. He and Nancy came out to Calif and we handled the Airforce one at the TWA hanger. The Secret Service was there days ahead of time. I and another were put in charge of the visit. Man what a thing with the Secret Service.

Bill, I agree with you. Why we paying for some motherfxxking black dude to by flying round in a plane like that. And whats with the Secret Service. Let him get his home boys to protect him.
