sst120/s2000 specs

Hi all ,I am looking at building up a hot 2L to run in 2000 cc super sports mono circuit race class in Oz.
The only limit on the engines is 2000cc and my available cash flow.
I will be running a 12" mid and have a choice of gearboxs either a 1.87 cle or maybe an inline box. Also have an old twister ssm which I have run before but have had problems on the mono in corners.
I wondering if any one has any port height specs and tips which may be different from sst/s2000.
Any help would be great.

The same mods done on 2.4L Mercs will work for the 2L. Look up T-Rex's "cherry 2.4" project for some good info. Also search S&F for rod slot and exhaust chest pics. That'll be a good start.

Hi Kim,

I have a 2L Carbie engine that was port by Ron Anderson to suit the Tunnel Boat Tour rules, same as the SST 120 spec's only the exhaust has be done as well. This engine is for sale if thats what you are looking for, set up on the stock SST 120 or big bore carbies if required. Bob Beasley on 0402 109 987 Aus
