    How is the powerhead of a 56 cube 70 hp different from the sst60?

    dont know where you get the horsepower spec but yes
    head is shaved and the tuner is different
    reeds are stock but the rules allow plastic ones

    70hp 56ci makes about 70 HP @ Propshaft.

    SST 60, 56 ci make about 100hp @ powerhead = about 90HP @ Propshaft.
    Head = 7-10 hp
    Tuner = 7-10 hp and helps with over rev.........
    Plastic reeds help a little.
    No air box helps top end.

    Everything you need to know is on the APBA web site for this engine.
    The head is just a shaved stocker.
    all the dimensions are there for you to copy

    I am looking at Machine Shop in Charlotte in September.
    I have to do some 56ci stuff..........

    I have a sst 60 powerhead Long block no electrics or carbs fresh rebuild new pistons rings bearings all new, blue printed 60 head 1500 plus shipping new sst60 cowls available also
