This past weekend several drivers from the EORC club of Long Island invaded Taunton, Mass. for a 500 Runabout (old CCR) race. CRR use to have 15 or more of these boats at every local APBA race in the East Coast. Over the years most of the drivers are long gone into other things or just retired from racing. This could be the return of the class as the class is now added to several of the races for this year in this area. Pete Voss and Pat Wright were from the old racing days and Jim Wright and Don Rusnak are the new "young guns" that entered in the event all running Konig engines and Krier Runabouts. There was also one new 500 CC Rossi engine there but it was not run. Enclosed is a photo of the first turn with Don Rusnak in the N-9 and Pat Wright in the N-711.
