Default P-9 And Suncoast Motor Sports Will Be There!

Suncoast Motors Sports was loading the semi when I was there today...If Scott would share one of those good props he's got with his brother maybe Mike could make a podium finish.

Sounds like 9 Crackers will be there!

Sorry the COR boats weren't invited, but maybe next year!

    Default Erine dawe just called...

"A bunch of Sport C's, 9--45 SST's and 9 Crackers. Great racing. Stgeven is either 1st or second off the dock. Tons of spectators, weather is great. Isleton, California a cool little town, " quote Ernie.

All boats get $250 tow money plus prize money. Top 45 qualifier get $500.

Way cool Gloria Crimm, Frank Banducci and Jim Corsaut and others that I know not whom!!!

Next year COR 2.0 WILL be invited.

Default Congratulations to Steven Dawe #22 and to #93 on their WFLS Championship!

R.J. West wins “Back to Back” WFLS Championships- 4th in 11 years!

October 3, 2010- Redondo Beach, CA R.J. West (Manteca, CA) driver of the #93 Formula Light Tunnel Boat for Team Owner Chuck Skelton, Skelton Racing Team of Newhall, CA captured an unprecedented 4th Western Formula Light Series (WFLS) championship in eleven years this past weekend at the final round of the 2010 WFLS Tour at the “Delta Thunder” Isleton Regatta completing all seven rounds of the 2010 Series points chase.

After splitting qualifying heat victories at the “Delta Thunder” event, both R.J. West and Steven Dawe (Indio, CA) in the #22 “Trafficade” were each looking for a 25 lap main event win and the 2010 WFLS Championship. When the checkered flag flew at the end of 25 laps, it would be Dawe with his first overall 25 lap main event win for the 2010 season. For the #93 team finishing in second place in the 25 lap main event it meant “back to back” WFLS Championships!

Congratulations to the entire Skelton Racing Team who put West and the #93 on the podium 6 out of 7 races on the 2010 Series Tour. The team survived a grueling season which included a horrific crash that would take out the Team’s truck and race trailer while on the way back to the APBA National Championships in Kankakee, IL and come back to win just two weeks after at the San Diego Bayfair Round # 6 and cement the 2010 series championship at the Isleton, Delta Thunder regatta.

Finishing 2nd place overall in the 2010 Series chase was the #22 Team Trafficade of Steven Dawe who finished the series points chase a mere 45 points behind West and also finished on the podium 4 races in 2010. Dawe campaigned a new hull mid season and found the right combination and will surely be a dominant force on the 2011 Series Championship Tour.

3rd place overall for 2011 goes to #49 Team UFL, Jeff Schmitt, Olympia, WA who finished 14 points behind Dawe after the numbers were re-calibrated and one race thrown out. Schmitt, always a contender completed a solid year of racing on the WFLS Tour.

RPM RACING ENTERPRISES, LLC would like to thank all of the WFLS participants who raced on the tour in 2010! We look forward to the 2011 series with the return of some great venues to the 2011 Tour.

by the time crackers hit the water, the strong breeze had arrived. 1st heat was wild , last heat was even more wild. white caps and near 1' swells. those boats were dancing.

all cracker teams were celebrites. spectators followed the boats back to thier pits and got auotgraphs from all of them.
