Default How does your old OMC looper pee?

    Hi,
    Real basic question here.
Should my 1972 50 HP 2-hole OMC Looper send out cooling water to the side so you can see the tell-tail stream (like so many other outboards), or is all the water diverted out the exhaust and exits under the water?
    Thanks

    Thanks!
I guess in reading about it the 'tell tail' water stream, OMC started doing it in about 1975?
I wonder if it's worth me drilling above the upper cylinder to install this piece?

I'll have to think about this one.

Has anyone out there make this mod? Pretty straight forward?

    Later....
