Glad Duff's ok,nice to see the picture it tells a thousand words, good mates with a passion for their sport and a luv of boats. My missus just can't understand it,working on boats, building engines, spending time down at the dyno, she still can't grasp how i still luv it and am always still excited by it and the look on her face when i explained it was about that feeling of creating or rebuilding something back to life.Blown or carby and most are not mine it doesn't matter, its just the feeling that this sport or hoby gives.
So do you all have this same PROBLEM or am i really going nuts

The pics I have posted from the 80's-90's I took when I was too young to wrench on Dad's PS-230 boat. Then once I gained enough trust to do some serious wrenching, it was all business.
I was into photography of race boats since I was 9 years old and I am so glad I kept all the pics indoors and stored well enough to share these days. Enjoy

Duffs pic of his Kilo wreck came from a friends Facebook page that took the pic

wow, HEMI dry sump, Enderle and Hampton 8? That doesnt look like a b-boat to me, maybe Rayson similar to Britains maroon Capsule K? Duff sure doesnt show his age and is that older fella next to him Truit? Thanks for the pics,
I hope non capsuled boats can run even open Ks in Nostalgia otherwise, this project is toast. We are allowed blowers or turbos but stay under 90 and that's just fine for an old guy like myself!

John, I sure like not only your pictures but your wealth of knowledge as to race boat history!

Yep Jim...I remember meeting you at several back East races as a youngster
I'm pretty sure I have a pic or two from those days somewhere.

These are just a few pics I posted, as I left off just before Lake Castaic, CA Western Divisonals in 87' when Duff destroyed the oh' Mona PS-999 boat while testing. I'll get to continuing the thread sometime with Valleyfield pics from 88' and 91' that are awesome. I have found a bunch more pics, but have not scanned any lately and will do so in the future.
