My dad raced this kober kat in the late 60's early 70's, I was 7 when this photo was taken. Got me hooked on raceboats!

Yes you are right, I looked at the photo and it looks like june 1970. He raced that boat in the parker 9 hour 70 or 71 and got 10th place with the smallest boat there!

OK, give me a couple of days and I will pull out a box full of old COBRA pictures as well. Now I need to get the new printer/scanner to work though.

I believe it was one of Dave Kobers personal boats. It had a glass bottom and a wood top. My scanner gives me grief so I take a picture of a picture and then load from the camera into the computer.
