One of the greatest feats ever accomplished in tunnel racing was at the 1982 Embassy Grand Prix when he went over to Bristol England with one boat and two powerheads. He won the F-2 class and also won F-1 beating the early V-8 outboards by swaping powerheads between every round of racing! This is very easy to find on Youtube.

Go to Youtube, type in "embassy grand prix". When the list comes up click on Bristol 1982. There are also films of the F-2 races on there too. Watching this just reminds you of how great a driver he was.

    Default Happy Birthday, Bill

Occassionally when a bunch of us old racer get together, we talk about who was the second greatest all-time outboard driver--There's never a duscussion that you are number 1. Happy birthday. Hope you have many more.
