    Default 13' 4'' St Martin 50hp mercury

This is my 13' 4'' St martin it weighs 500lbs. It has 2009 50hp mercury 2 stroke. It runs pretty good 48mph at 5800rpms. It has a aluminum prop 15p. Needs to go faster.

You sure you are getting a "real" 48mph? I sold my 2001 Paradise Fantasy F-13 (identical to the St. Martins) and after messing with engine height and with a CMC tilt to optimize rpm I was in the 35-36mph range with a 2-stroke Johnson 40. Ten hp isn't supposed to make a 12-13mph difference. Pitot tube speedos are notoriously inaccurate.

Yep, I ran a wave runner with gps 48 mph. My speedometer starts jumping at 45 mph. I just sold my 50 merc and bought a 90 yamaha and a jack plate. I cant wait to see what it will do.
