No, I'm still lost on the power valve relation
Since 1925, about 150 different racing outboards have been made.

power valve, forces the exhaust to blow down and out a lower port hight, this make more low end power.
not lookin for more low end on the outboard, but keepin some or most of what is there and still gettin the high port, you want to chanfur the top of the port so she blows down and out
this will help keep the power band from bein peaky. you follow?

Finger ports are added, you must drill a hole in the piston to match it.
Oh, don't worry about the money......

i think this map works on hydros with quickee lower unit.the mod 50 powerhead wasn't design to run v-bottoms...i've wasted alot of money trying, easy way to more power, just bolt on a stock 56 in. omc. powerhead.. this works...
