Default 2012 Infineon Raceway: Robbie Gordon

I see that Robbie is going to race at Infineon next week. I give Robbie a lot of credit. From what I've heard, he has more sponsors for his Offroad Racing efforts than he can use, but his Offroad sponsors want no part of NASCAR. But Robbie still wants to race NASCAR.

Walmart in Mexico has bought more than 2 million dollars worth of Speed Energy drink. Rumor on th street is that the drink is selling.

Carry on Robbie, you have one BIG fan here. Here is to INDY 2013! Look for Robbie to race the 500 next year.

Robbie was the only other team in Nascar other than Penske running Dodges. Penske has been at the top with Mopar but has decided to go with Ford in 2013. Chrysler would like to find a quality team to take over their effort in Nascar but no one has taken them up on their offer. This would be a the opportunity for Robbie to compete in Nascar with the support that he currently can't fund by himself. Chrysler has all the body panels and support for engines. I understand that the team would have to have their own engine shop and this is why they haven't been able to find anyone. Most Nascar teams buy or lease their engines from a producer such as Hendrick. Penske built the fast Mopar engines but they will now be switching to Fords. Good luck, the Mopars have been faster than anything else on the track, look at the high speed tracks and the Dodges are always at the front. Anyway this could be Robbie's chance to be a big time team in Nascar, however time is running out for 2013, maybe he could do it for 2014.

I for one have been a Nascar fan but with no Dodges, I won't be tuning in anymore.

After multiple practice sessions, the Stadium SUPER Trucks took to the temporary track for the best of 2-lap qualifying session. Brawley, Calif., native, Justin Lofton, edged out Wisconsin native Keegan Kincaid by .005 to capture the quick time with a lap of 58.222.

After a six-car invert Mike Jenkins of Plano, Texas, would pace the 15-lap SST final to green. Craig Potts would race out to the early lead, but entering the second turn Potts would lose the handle on his No. 59 truck spinning and losing multiple positions.
