    Default U were there ?

I was there for four days, camped beside the pits, and when I get back to ON, they say "did u talk to Ron" ?
"No, I didn't see him, was he there ? "
I think it was you I was fighting with over the last of the relish at the hot dog stand
I suppose if I came on this board more i would know,
and i should have guessed with half of Reg 10/11 there.

Yeah, that boat of Nuccio's is a good ride.
"B-C mods" -until this year, in 55 years, nothing in my shop, other than USA and German motors.
Now, there is a 102mod, nice tough little mota,
starts easy, like my FB Konig, just a little quieter.
Last time we talked was Valleyfield, '67 maybe ???

Default John Peeters Works, And Others Do Too!!!

One thing I REALLY liked about Whitney Point, NY, 2008 was that i saw and heard most drivers working, womewhere, sometime...This is OUR sport we need to do more than race...Great job. all..

Here is John Peeters check fuel...REAL bad picture of Fred Hauenstein....

Default Went To Apple Valley Marine

Went to Apple Valley Marine to get the BMB Storage Parker boat and get my rebuilt CLE gearcases... While I was there with Tinker Collinge and Dave Bryan, I thought I'd pick up two of the five Merc 500's Tinker and I had found at Apple Valley on the last trip...

Instead we found four new Merc 500's...I am planning on building up a D Mod or two....Tinker and I don't have enough projects...

How about these pipes?? Water injected...

John Banicci's capsuled PC at S and S Marine.... Dave Bryan and Tinker watching Micke Schwarzenbach work.

Last picture is of Danny's Schwarzenbach's Evinrude 36.....And again I'll say, "BEST OUTBOARD CLASS IN APBA." Our Commodore, Race Chhairman and patrol Boats were always the 36 drivers.....Much like the Sport C GENTLEMEN in Region 11.......(Patrol Boats anyway)...

    Default Dave Bryan Asks Me...

Daves says, "Ron, how does it feel to have lost your mind?"

I had never given the question much thought, but maybe I have lost my mind....

I have SO MUCH FUN doing things...Like making new propellers for PRO GT....Will round ears work?

Or buying things from my plumber....What am I going to do with a perfectly good 9.9 Mercury???
Could it be that I have another J Motor in my future???

    Default 15 Johnson....Jeff Conant's 45 SS

AZ Outlaw may have a 45 "RIDE" at Havasu Landing...

I've got Chris Chamberlin working on THE BLACK REVOLUTION....

Dave Bryan and I are shortening two 15 Johnson mid sections to see how they will work on a J/A Hydro with a stock gearcase...

    Quick story.......
Well I go to Chad's and pick up the Black Revolution and head for Chris'...

I'm cooling it in the right lane going about 60....I notice a CHP (California Highway Patrol) cruising back a ways....I somewhat panic, realizing I had no license plate, non working taillights and no safety chain.... (Who needs a safety chain right???).

Anyway, the CHP dude passes me, ALMOST, then slows and pulls in behind me...The BIG ONE...I feel like Fred Sanford...I know I'm going to have a heart attack...Of course, the traffic ahead of me slows and I have to use my brakes...So now, the CHP dude knows my brake lights don't work and I don't have any tail lights. So, I put on the blinker, that doesn't work and change lanes...The CHP dude gets off the freeway...while I'm checking my shorts.....

So, Chris and I unload the boat and I haul out of Eat at Joe's....GREAT pastrami sandwiches...Last thing Chris says, "Remember you have a trailer behind you..."

I stop at Eat at Joe's...Get out...No TRAILER.............I call Chris and ask if he unhooked the trailer...He said, "NO."...

I back track...and at Home Depot, there were twenty laborers sitting on a nice boat trailer.....$20 later, I was going down the road with my trailer...Maybe, I'll get the safety chain hooked up....

    Chris's Mustang..

Dave Bryan's saddle for his Tohatsu "D"..

    My 15 Johnson...

Default Ron and Chad's 45 Back Up Stuff

    1. Gran Prix that was Bill Ruckers. Then Garland Powells. Loaned to JohnLane. Then Broc Hill's. Current on loan to Tito Smith Jr. For Sale for $5,000 turn key, no trailer. Tito has said he'll buy it, when his taxes come back!!!!!

    2. Gran Prix that was The Berghausers. Then a guy's in Vegas, Then Chad ran it for two years. Currently rerigging it and Clive Wilkins is going to run it at Havasu Landing. $5,000 turn key, no trailer. Clive may buy the package.

    3. Black Revolution, Chris Chamberlin is repairing all damage, Jeff Conant of Trafficade Fame has been offered the use of the boat. $5,000 turn key, no trailer...

I'd take $2,500 for the Berghauer Gran Prix or the Black Revloution...AND might consider getting it to the Winter Nationals...
