Default Bought Gas On My Credit Card....

I assume gas is "FREE", if I use my credit card...

Great day...Drove 750 miles, basically had breakfast and lunch with Fred Hauenstein, Jr... Freddy's mom is going to have a hip replaced, she looked like she'ds doing well...

Got rolling, actually on the freeway by 6:00 A.M and was back at the 4th of July party in Newport by 9:00 P.M. I Would have been later, but left the NEW REVOLUTION behind at Sorensen Wood Craft...

My old camera doesn't like hot weatrher, and it was 106....so this is the only picture I have...Warren and R.J. West were the "BEST"...waited for me, when I was two hours late...Then loaded the boat and tied it down....(They know an OLD FART WHEN THEY SEE ONE)...

Tell me...Don't this "PIECE" (SST 45 Revolution hull) look like a winner?????
Trust me, the new Revolution 120 is "SICK" as MISS KTDoodle would say...but I'd call it HOT...No pictures as my camera wasn't working.

I'm not sure...Seems the blond in at McDonalds looked like Elke Sommers. Didn't Elke Sommers play the blond in the T Bird????

    Default Testing for Chowchilla

Well, we tried somethings today...Bunker, Broc and Russ Hill helped Chad...Jim Wilkes or Wilkes Marine, Santa Ana, California, and I "BOSSED"...

Picture one is Bunker Fishing...He caught a couple of tangles.
Second picture is our new "TOP SECRET" 45 SS Powerhead.
    Third pictures are some PROPELLERS
Fourth picture is Bunker and Broc helping Chad...

Fith pcutre didn't come out but was my brother sitting next to Jim Wilkes...

    July 10, 2007...Chowchilla is this weekend, July 14-15, 2007.

Ain't that a nice place to test???15 minutes from the shop...Bad side winds, though, which makes testing a 45 difficult...

Damn it Ron, there ya go suckin up all the good deals again. I wouldn't mind running a 120 IF there were enough boats to make a class and I had a place to keep it.

Default Sold The Boat and Trailer

    Dean...

I have made a deal to sell the boat, trailer and one gearcase...The deal is supposed to happen the first of APRIL...

My plan is to keep the 120 powerhead for the 2.0 class at the Blue Water Resort and Casino 300, this coming October...

(We don't know the rules yet, but seems everyone thinks 80 MPH in a MOD VP sounds better than 105 MPH. We are putting three 2.0 liter motors together. One is for Fred Bowden. I'm taking Fred's boat, tomorrow, to get some glass work done, FRED says, he wants to run AT LEAST ONE BOAT with a 2.0 liter. After talking to Chad (Hill), John Lane, John Soares, and Todd Bowden...they all seem to think 80 is a NICE speed in a MOD VP...(IF Fred runs a SECOND BOAT it will also have a 2.0 liter on it)...

There is ONLY ONE AL STOKER...and AL can drive his boats at 105 MPH ..probably forever and not have trouble...The rest of us are MERE MORTALS...

If the APRIL 1st deal falls through, we'll put this boat on the water in SST 120....maybe with John Soares driving. I feel we have enough parts to build a Formula 150 motor as well...

As far as deals go, BILL...a free 2.0 is as good as it gets...I will take you up on helping us build these 2.0 liters, as I'm on a mission to find more 2.0 liters....
