Yes ur correct on that, but i work on outboards for a side job and i feel good when a 1976 omc comes in cause there cheap to fix but them mercs and yamahas got my yard full right now cause they are 2005 and newer and takes a week for parts to come in, they just cant hold up to the beatin our river gives them

Them omc's are cheap for u to fix, cause u got alot of omc parts and motors laying around your bone yard,, u cant have too many parts, and its always good to have them, especially if your going to be running omc's. Mercury motors like we like wasnt made very long,,, so parts for them arent just laying everywhere, but they do make parts for them cause they brake too. Just not as much as the omc's LOL.

Haha yeah he is after my lil 2 cylinder 40 omc, we gonna try to have that race down here . And if we do we will drag them out, we cant run yalls speeds but me and him are neck and neck with each other, always puts on a good race. And my parts arent odd ball haha they just look wierd!
