    Default Lucini F1000 question

Am helping a team in Austria with an older (than 2004) Lucini F1000 tunnel.
The pads have wedges (that hook the pads, not steps!) near the trailing edge as shown below.
Is this original, or did an earlier owner add them? Will certainly force the bow down!
I don't know the characteristics of the Lucini (blow-over tendency), so want to hear from someone who knows before
    removing the wedges.

Again, these are not steps, if the wedges are removed then the pads will be straight.

Also, can anyone tell me the RPM range of the Selva F1000 motor? The team has
    2 older Dewald props, 10x16 and 9 m1/2x17.

Is there a rev limiter? And do winners restrict to 7000 RPM and under?
