From what I can see in the photos of the F1000 boats they seem to be smaller than our SST-60 boats. Maybe it's because of our courses here. The SST-60s have a min. weight of 825 lbs. and a min. length of 14 feet. What are the boat specs for F1000?

Agreed, we need more converted pleasure boats in the small & intermediate classes.
In many cases teams can barely practice because they are not legal to use the waterways...

    Default sst60/selva

    Hey Roddy,

Any pics of your boat with the Selva motor in place?

If you guys want to see a sst60 boat with the selva motor on it, come to Kankakee next weekend Roddy is going to have his spare boat there with the motor on it. Word has it he, and others will be testing it there.

I'll have mine there. If Roddy wants to borrow it while he tests, I'll be glad to put it on there.

    Default Selva on 60 Boat

We are working hard to get the boat ready.... we just found out about the motor availability and had to modify the transom and rig the existing boat. Hope to have it in Kankakee but it will be tight. Priority is on having my 60 boat ready to race. If we do not have the Selva in K3, it will be ready to test this fall and have at events in 2012.

Here's hoping you get time to get Selva running. We have a few drivers who will be watching for how it goes against sst60 rigs. Fingers crossed you get it working

We would be very interested to find out the results as well for possible use up here in Canada with our thundercat race series. Please keep me in the loop, Thanks.
