Default How about another racing class?

Like a canopy, even at lower speeds? Worried about blowing over, spinning-out or flipping? Want a cool looking rig? Ever wanted to take your date to see submarine races?
Want to add spectator appeal to a regatta?
    Want to "eat-up" the competition?

Here is something that might interest you (but you should finance it with a "loan shark").

APBA has already been preempted by the Aquabatic Racing League.

A shark shaped submarine that performs feats like a shark. It can can dive under water, roll from side to side and jump 12ft into the air. Seabreacher X has many close resemblances to a white shark. It includes a dorsal fin, gaping jaws, rows of dagger-sharp teeth and measures 16.5ft in length which is almost identical to sharks’. Powered by a 260hp engine that enables the shark shaped boat to run 50mph above and 20mph below water is for the rich adrenaline-junkies and costs about £60,000 per unit.

Seabreacher X is a two seater boat. It is quick and is capable to roll 90 degrees to the right and left. The boat plunges under the water with the push of a joystick and can remain there for 20 seconds. Thereafter, after gaining speed, the boat jumps out of the water in the air with the push of the controls in the cabin.

Well it looks fun, but 60k to go 50mph ? Don't see any race potential here...
