40-50 yam tuner photos, carb questions

Hi folks - does anyone have any top and side photos of the 40 and 50 yamaha tuners? Are the 15 inch and 20 inch versions identical? any dimensional info on the i.d./ inside area and lengths stock vs what length/area you're running for your rpm range? Also has anyone tried the older 3 cyl omc carbs on one of these motors or know if they are a close fit?

50 tuner


40 tuner


I'm pretty sure there is no length difference in the 15 and 20" tuners.
The 50 tuner on the pic is a 15" but cut about 2" shorter. The 40 tuner on the pic is from a 20" motor. Check the parts list to be sure.

Don't know about the OMC carbs. Use rejetted Yam 70hp carbs on these 40/50 Yam's. I believe they bolt right on.

70 carbs will bolt right if they h ave the older round bowls.
