    Default Carbs

    I havw a 99 56 ci 60 hp oval port motor. Turn it 6100 RPM. Looking for the best carbs. I know there are threads about this but cannot seem to find them. I have two sets of the earlier 2 jet 70 hp carbs.

    All the 56 70 carbs are 1 1/2 like the old 49 75
    Never heard of one model that was better than the other although there are 3 - 4 different style carbs

    you may have to use a carburator from something that is not omc tilloson carburators are good and mercury three piston motors have big carburators

    only carbs better than OMC ones are Yam ones, Super BN Mikuni's
