thanks for that link after reading all the post sound`s like there is no hard yes or no.Years ago i had a knee board that had dimples the size of golf balls formed into the bottom and it was faster than one without so i thought i would ask to see if this had been done
my understanding is the less wetted surface the better, im sure there is a point were stability comes into that factor.
