Default Art Losvar and Leonard Keller: Long Beach, CA 1946

I was looking at this 1946 APBA Newsletter, wonder how APBA will be in a few years without their monthly paper....Anyway, this was the results on Long Beach, November 3, 1946.

Art Losvar won A Hydro (Dave Losvar works for Sea_Way Marine, I'm not sure if this is Dave dad or grandfather.

Second was the famous Leonard Keller of speedometer fame.

    ADD:

Missed it: My dad was 4th in C Service and 2nd in C Racing.

Art was (as far as I know, still IS) the father of Dave, Jim, and another big strappin' boy whose name I have forgetten in the forty years since I saw him. All of the boys raced at one time or other. I think Dave still does, and Art did until fairly recently.

Another of the A Hydro drivers that used to regularly mix it up with Keller and Losvar was Val Hallum, father of Jim Hallum who built engines for Gerry Walin and others. The three were pretty close, and I have a steering wheel of an early Keller pattern that has the name "Hallum" cast into it where "Keller" would normally have been.
