    Default Bridgeport or not a Bridgeport

    Can anyone tell me if a 2.4 EFI Up Draft 1984 or 1985 fuel injection merc is a Bridgeport
    or is the 2.4 EFI Front Velosity Stack fuel injection 1986 merc is the first year of the Bridgeport......?

    I believe the updrafts were all oval port motors.

    Not sure when the first one arrived, but I have a 2.4 Bridge that is around 1979

    My Bridgeport originally had the updraft. A bud looked up the numbers for me and we deduced it was built in late '81 or early '82. $.02 REW
