Friday is a "move in" day. You can show up Saturday and still race. So people have motorhomes, big trailers and the like and need part of a day to get them parked. I'm pretty sure they WON'T have testing on Friday, but do not know that for a fact.

Probably, set the course up Friday and take race boat sign ups......
