Havasu cancellation

Regarding Havasu cancellation : just found out that race was cancelled ! due to " not enough entries " how would they know there where not enough entries ? There was no sanctions notice e-mailed from APBA ! (at least I did not get one) did someone just guess ? or............

The Havasu Landing race is canceled due to numerous teams stating they would NOT be attending. With increased insurance rates this year, and no Inboard Cracker Box class in attendance, it was projected that the club might not recoup its expenses without a large increase in entry fee's.

Note that we asked a tentative roll call back in December, when the permit for the water had to be completed.
