Yes, when I originally did the sanction I had COR's and some other classes that I had hoped to bring. As I sent you and the rest of the COR class member the Bayfair BOG made the decision last week about the COR's, not my decision as I lobbied hard for the COR class to be there but due to water time and pit constraints they decided against. I am sorry as I did try to get your guys there.

The lack of chatter on BRF about the San Diego race is beginning to concern me. We are 9 days away from the race and nobody is talking about it, unlike the case for other SoCal races. Could it be that there will be little or no turn-out for one of boat racing's best showcase events, anywhere in the U.S.? IF so, it might be evidence that our sport is indeed in bad shape. Someone tell me I am mistaken and we will have good fields in our classes.

seacow, i think you are right boat racing in sd has lost interest, i think i am the only boat racer left in sd county . when pacific power boat club was alive we had at least 5 races a year on mission bay, today none !
nobody is interested in crewing, watching, or even getting into driving !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i think they are too brainwashed by the chargers and the padres.
last year i watched the news on tv and in the sport section, bayfair was mentioned for about 30 seconds or less, football 10 minutes !
also nothing in newspaper or tv prior to race.
